The historical homestead was built by Stephanus Petrus “Swart lawaai” Erasmus and his wife Anna Catharina, between 1875 and 1904.
In January 2010 the Rietvlei Coffee Shop and Safaris was established. Ever since we have thrilled guests with amazing bush cuisine and local fresh produce, a dedicated staff that welcomes you as family and incredible safaris.

Common sightings on this tour include, White Rhino, Buffalo and Cheetah to name a few. The safari drives are 2 hours long and takes place within the reserve
